Lee Jean-Gilles is an Interior Designer and currently resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, educated in the US, Japan, and Australia, Lee was drawn to color, light, texture and design at an early age. His journey began as an artist exhibiting at the Ann Arbor Art Fair at the young age of thirteen.
As the owner of Pierre Paul Art Gallery, Lee has been bringing beauty into thousands of homes over three decades as an expert Picture Framer and Art Consultant. During this time, Lee found himself being drawn into the world of interior design by consulting his clients on lighting, color and furniture selection. This experience led Lee to his passion for Interior Design. Lee made his public debut as the interior designer for the lead house in the 2007 Washtenaw County Showcase of Homes. Since then, he has had projects ranging from commercial spaces to homes of all sizes and styles throughout Michigan, across the country and internationally.
Lee’s design philosophy is heavily influenced by his extensive travels around the world. His belief is one of helping clients create a spectacular home that integrates their love, interests, passion and vision.
Lee always strives to provide an artistic variety and pricing options to meet each client’s style and budget. Lee’s personal motto is, “A home must not only be beautiful – it must speak to its owner before it can truly be considered a home.”
