Andy Anh Ha
Andy Anh Ha has lived in Los Angeles since 2005 and graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2004 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in Media Arts. He classifies his work as Modernistic Expressionism and his paintings are done on hand built wood panel boxes which he paints on and finishes with high gloss. The result is a finished product that Ha first began in the early 2000’s and has since refined to its present form.
From his first showing at the Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens, Andy Ha has accumulated numerous awards including 1st Place in the painting category in 2005, 2008, and 2011. His ingenuity was recognized when he received the Gil Gorbos Award for Most Original in 2008. Other Affaire awards include Most Appealing Display in 2005 and 3rd Place in 2007.
Ha’s unique style has attracted a number of the Hollywood elite and International leaders. His work is found in the art collections of Doug Ellin, creator of Entourage, actress Jessica Alba, and Amr Abdullah Al Dabbagh, Saudi Arabian Governing Investment Authority. He was also honored to have work from his Grey Line series featured in HBO’s 2011 Season of True Blood. The best visibility of his artwork is in the episode, fittingly titled, “Cold Gray of Dawn.”
