Pierre Paul Design is proud to present the Michigan Governor’s Lansing Residence 2015 Art Collection. This impressive exhibit, now on display at the Governor’s Lansing Residence, has been created by Michigan artists and displays the diverse, incredible talent residing in this beautiful state. We are honored to be selected by Governor Rick Snyder and First Lady Sue Snyder to curate and mount this wonderful, annual exhibit. Now on display at the Governor’s Lansing Residence, the 2015 Governor’s Collection features artists from throughout Michigan. The artwork is created in a variety of mediums ranging from oil on canvas to art glass, to sculptures, capturing the natural beauty and spirit of Michigan. This program, first established in 2005, is a wonderful way of actively supporting the arts in Michigan. The artists get to meet the Governor and First Lady in person. Additionally, their work is viewed by the Governor’s guests visiting the home including state, national, and international dignitaries. The artists’ work is a stunning visual representation of Michigan’s diverse landscapes and peoples. We are delighted and honored to continue this legacy by presenting this annual collection.
